New Zealander filly with an outstanding strike rate of six wins and two seconds from nine starts. Finished strongly at her Australian debut to win the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) at Rosehill in March by 0.63L. Previously Won the G1 New Zealand Derby (2400m). Aiming for sixth consecutive wins.

Quintessa

Another New Zealander raider who has had two starts in Australia, finishing fourth in the G1 Australian Guineas (1600m) and second in the G2 Alister Clark Stakes (2040m), beaten 0.1L. Is a G1 winner at home but this is tougher.

Zardozi

This is her fourth run this year and is ready to peak after finishing third, beaten 1.35L in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m). Won the G1 VRC Oaks (2500m) last year. This suits.

Tutta La Vita

Past three have been solid. Just beaten by Orchestral at last start in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m). Form is good enough to expect a forward showing. Rise in distance appeals.

Autumn Angel

Was a late withdrawal from the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m) because of leg issues. Is a G3 winner over 2000m and finished second in the G3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) at Randwick at last start. Expect bold showing.

Basilinna

Yet to win beyond 1600m. Finished third, beaten 6.5L, in last year’s 2500m G1 VRC Oaks. Hasn’t been far away in past couple but would need to produce a career best to win this.

Dances With Hooves

Broke maiden status four starts back. Has won past two, including most recent over 1850m, but they were restricted races. This is way too hard.

Piplup

Won a maiden at 2000m and then tackled the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m), finishing in seventh and 5.49L from the winner. Outclassed here.

True Fairy

Is entitled to be tackling much weaker races. Beat one runner home in a field of nine at huge odds in the G1 Vinery Stud Stakes (2000m), beaten 7.19L.

Bush Girl

Wasn’t hopeless at her last start when she finished seventh, beaten 4.38L, after leading in the G3 Adrian Knox Stakes (2000m) at Randwick. Will again start at big odds.
