Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day and WATC Derby to be beamed live for betting

The Hong Kong Jockey Club will simulcast for betting 10 races from the Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day from Royal Randwick and the WATC Derby from Ascot on Saturday, 13 April.

Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day from Royal Randwick, Sydney (10 races – First race 09.45 Hong Kong time)

The Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival culminates with the running of the G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m), Sydney’s premier weight-for-age contest. A star-studded field will assemble this year, headed by the ex-England trained mare Via Sistina who delivered instant impact on her first start on Australian soil when winning the G1 Ranvet Stakes comfortably under James McDonald. The Grand Finals of Australian Racing also features three other prestigious Group 1 races, namely, the G1 Sydney Cup (3200m), G1 Australian Oaks (2400m) and G1 Queen of the Turf Stakes (1600m).

WATC Derby from Ascot, Perth (15.50 Hong Kong time)

After the conclusion of the Sydney races, the WATC Derby will be beamed live from Ascot Racecourse in Perth. The best staying 3YO colts and fillies across Western Australia will battle it out.
