RACE 1 – LOYAL AMBITION

LOYAL AMBITION, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse had sustained a wound to its right hind leg. LOYAL AMBITION was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes last Saturday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left hind leg. Before being allowed to race again, LOYAL AMBITION will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

RACE 4 – HAPPY ANGEL

HAPPY ANGEL, which performed disappointingly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. HAPPY ANGEL was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer P C Ng last Saturday morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, HAPPY ANGEL will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

RACE 8 – RED ACLAIM

The Veterinary Surgeon reported that RED ACLAIM was lame in its right front leg on the morning after racing. Before being allowed to race again, RED ACLAIM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted last Saturday morning of all other horses inspected during last Friday night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
