G2 – 1000m – Turf

1

American Rascal

USA raider. Ran away with race over 900m on dirt at Keeneland in April. Faces different conditions but a leading contender.

2

Baheer

Needs to improve on runner up effort over 1200m last month. The shorter distance may suit him. Not ruled out.

3

Devious

Physically imposing. Readily won maiden over 1000m at Naas on debut in May. Needs to improve but may do so.

4

Elite Status

Won both races easily, latest a Listed race over 1009m at Sandown by five lengths from eight previous winners. A leading contender.

5

Hala Emaraaty

Narrowly won maiden then novice race over 1000m. This much more difficult.

6

His Majesty

Won Listed race over 1000m then close third in G3 over 1200m, both at the Curragh. Good form but may prove better at 1200m.

7

Malc

Won five runner novice over 1000m at Carlisle in May. Needs a big improvement.

8

Mon Na Slieve

Won Class 2 novice over 1000m on debut at York in May. Needs to improve but may do so. Not ruled out.

9

Noche Magica

Won a small field maiden easily before narrowly beaten in small field G3 race over 1200m at the Curragh. In the mix.

10

No Nay Mets

Trained in USA. Won over 1000m on fast turf at Gulfstream Park in May. Hard to assess value of form. Interesting.

11

Reveiller

Readily won novice over 1000m at Salisbury in May. Value of form questionable. Needs to improve.

12

Shayekh

Well beaten in Listed race over 1009m at Sandown on third run. Doesn’t look good enough.

13

The Fixer

Trained in France, where won two of four races, latest Listed race over 1000m at Chantilly this month. Interesting.

14

Thunder Blue

Ran well both outings, over 1200m on fast ground, readily winning novice at Goodwood 11 days ago. Likely to improve and good chance if suited by 1000m.

15

Toca Madera

Two good efforts on firm ground at Bath, winning nicely over 1145m 13 days ago. This much tougher.

16

Valiant Force

Promising second in Listed race over 1000m on debut then well beaten in G3 over 1200m, both at the Curragh in May. Needs to improve.
