On 21 April 2023, the Licensing Committee, by way of written resolution, resolved to grant an Apprentice Jockey’s licence to Ellis WONG Chi Wang from 1 May 2023 until the conclusion of the 2022/2023 racing season. Management has conducted a selection process following all trainers being invited to submit an expression of interest to have Apprentice Wong allocated to their stable. It has been decided that Apprentice Wong will be allocated to Trainer Caspar Fownes.
