SKY MELODY

SKY MELODY, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. SKY MELODY was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer C Fownes this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. As previously advised, SKY MELODY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination before being allowed to race again.

MULTI FACETS

MULTI FACETS, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. MULTI FACETS was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be sore in both front fetlocks. As previously advised, MULTI FACETS will be required to perform satisfactorily in stalls test before being allowed to race again. The horse will now also be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

MCQUEEN

MCQUEEN, which performed poorly, was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said at that time there were no significant findings. MCQUEEN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer D E Ferraris this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in its left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, MCQUEEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

The Veterinary Officer reported that examinations conducted this morning of all other horses inspected during last night’s racemeeting were shown to have no significant findings.
