G3 – 1000m – Turf

Son Cesio Didn’t make much impact on his only previous venture over this course and distance but is a smart and consistent French speedster and, delivered with a strong challenge from a prominent position, he won a G2 at Baden-Baden last August.
Signs Of Blessing Has a strong chance here on the ratings and is a past G1 winner – though over 1300m – at Deauville, also leading from gate to wire when winning a G3 over 1200m there last August. No impact in the LONGINES Hong Kong Sprint when last seen.
Muthmir UK-trained but his last win came in France when a powerful burst of speed took him from last to first in a 1000m G2 sprint at Chantilly last June. That was on slow ground but ideally he wants good or faster. Returns from a break but stable in good form.
Mirza A veteran 11-times winning sprinter based in the UK but with lots of French experience including two G3 wins on the sprint track here. However he was last at Newmarket on his 2018 return 8 days before this event and a win looks unlikely.
Gold Vibe Only won a minor event last season but generally looked progressive at sprint distances and a late flourish saw him only just fail to win a G3 over this distance at Chantilly last September. Seasonal return here. Handles good and slow ground.
City Light Drops to 1000m for the first time but is certainly proving very effective over a bit further and on all-weather surfaces, posting a terrific career best when decisively winning a valuable and strongly contested conditions event at Lingfield in March, always travelling well.
Moon Trouble A handicap winner on soft ground over this distance last July, and a close third in a Listed event at Maisons-Laffitte on his final start last season. And he can boast course and distance winning form here, winning a conditions’ event in a tense finish last month.
Just Glamorous A UK-trained sprinter whose best effort probably came in France when he led all the way to win a G3 at Chantilly back in 2016, with a subsequent G1 winner in second. Returning from a 174-day absence he ran quite promisingly at Newbury last month.
Bakoel Koffie Down in distance but in good form lately and has finished a good second in Listed events on his last two starts. His second over 1200m at Maisons-Laffitte last month probably represented a career-best performance. This is tougher, though.
